Hi Guys & Gals
I am about to buy a garmin Zumo 550 navigator. I have been told that there is a newer version coming out soon, does any body know if there is or is the 550 the most up to date. Really would appreciate your help as I dont want to buy one and find out in a couple of weeks there was a better version. Many thanks Phil

As far as I am aware the Zumo 550 is the latest version. You have to jump in at some time and purchase and any replacement will do the same job just with more bells and whistles. I have recently replaced my Streetpilot 2610 with the Zumo 550, primarily because the software runs on an Apple Mac. Hope this helps you out.

The new Zumo 660 is due out in May or so.

Price on pre-order sites looks like mid £400s.
