From Aus, ferry advice please

Before I left Australia I thought I had the first part of my 'trip' planned - to catch a ferry from newcastle to norway. This was going to be in late June, somewhere about the 23 to 28. From reading here and the website that service has been cancelled. Could I have some advice on the next best (or easiest) alternative.

cheers

Hi
Have a look at:Blast to North Cape, further down the page on Norway travel info.

Seems the way to go is Harwich to Esbjerg.

Arriving in Esbjerg you have 4 choices

1. Esbjerg to Hirtshals ferry direct to Norway eighter Krisiansand or Larvik
Speedferry I paid 47 £ onway last year, super nice ferry 2-3 hr crossing

2. Esbjerg to Fredikshavn ferry to Gothenburg one slow and one fast ferry aviable
fast ferry 2hr crossing drive to Norway border on the E6 370 km.
Or ferry overnight direct to Oslo Norway .

3. Esbjerg to Helsingør ferry 30 minutes to Helsingborg ,take the E20 to Gøteborg and E6 to Oslo.

4.Esbjerg to Copenhagen and the bridge to Malmø I paied 120 kr last year.

Cheapest ferry crossing is Helsingør to Helsingborg but longer to ride.

Recomended crossing Hirtshals to Kristiandsand south Norway if you want to follow the western rout or Larvik which put you a little more east.
