Having had the stock GS seat re-foamed twice and I still don't like it, I've bitten the bullet & decided to buy one of these kiddies from Sargent Cycle Europe

The Uk operation had what I wanted in stock (Carbonfx & Mandarin welt with tri-colour badge) too. :)

Sean at the Uk dist is a nice gent and has offered that as long as the seat is not marked they'll take it back within 30days if I'm not happy.

Can't say fairer than that.

Now about that price...

ulp...

£500 for the 2 seats.

Hope it's worth it!

Still a saving on the price of 2 Corbin seats. And the Sargent front seat is compatible with the BMW rear seat, unlike the Corbin front.

True enough, I never thought of it like that.

Apparently the Sargent seats don't need to bed in like Corbin ones do.
Mine arrives tomorrow, I'll post up how it is.

:)

So far the thing has failed to arrive on 2 promised days.

Not impressed at the moment...no, nuts to that, I am extremely hacked off at the moment.

Yes and I'm not using it 'cos I have decided I don't like it.

It's not uncomfortable...it's weird...it just doesn't feel...right...

Can't put my finger on it.
Lovely bit of kit, no 2 ways about it.
Extremely well made, probably better build than a Corbin.

I think it's me, I'm just...odd.

For now I'm using the re-foamed stock seat.

I may sell the Sargent.

selling it?

and if you do decide to sell how much were you looking for?

Okeydokey,

Mike has decided not to go ahead now, so it's available again.
:)
