Hi All
I am going on my first European trip to Spa F1 GP in August and want to buy a GPS system for my GS1150.
Whilst it doesn't take a lot to confuse me I can't seem to get my head round all the mounting hardware I will need.
Sorry for asking stupid questions but here's what I would like help on.
1. Can I buy an all in one package that includes gps unit and all mounting hardware? Not looking to spend more that £250 on everything
2. Does anyone offer a waterproof case for non-waterproof units like the car sat navs, along with relevant mounting hardware? I have a lovely Tom Tom in mycar and would love to utilise this on my bike...
3. Will my battery be up to the job? I have a standard battery on my bike which if it's not plugged into optimate will struggle to start after a few days! Do I need to look at upgrading battery if I am to start running extra power sapping equipment?
4. Is there anywhere on this forum that shows how to fit an extra 12V socket into the beak? SOmething I would like to do for my sat nav.
