As far as I know there is a recall for the fan switch and all the white plastics for a bike purchased before November last year.
I found out that the fan can come on whenever it feels like it
even if the engine is cold. Went into the garage about a week ago to find that the fan was running, even though I hadn't been on the bike for a few days. Previously, I also found a completely flat battery on one occasion, presumably because the fan had been running?
Also, all the white plastics need changing. However, because I had purchased a sticker set from SpeedBrain the whole set was given to me to keep as spares and BMW didn't want the originals back. RESULT.
