Garmin GB Discoverer

Anyone using or used a Garmin Dakota 20 or Oregon series GPS on their trail bike? I've just seen this new Garmin GB Discoverer thing (basically OS 1:50k maps on the GPS, whilst retaining the vector data for turn by turn directions on the road) and it seems like it'll do exactly what I want on my trail bike i.e. on-road directions plus BOATs from the OS map.

Thoughts?

My thoughts are make sure you get a look at the OS mapping as displayed on your chosen Garmin GPS because I've read somewhere (maybe on here) its not rendered very well.
