Albania Road Information

Ferry booked from Ancona to Igoumenitsa for mid September. Elvie and I aim to ride up through Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and on to Croatia. We want to visit the ruins at Butrint, and hope to use the coast road which runs to Seranda. Does anyone have any information on the state of the coast road, and also whether the border crossing on this road has an insurance office so we can buy the insurance we need? Any help gratefully accepted.

I am back from holidays . I use road from Butrint ot Iqumenitsa. There is part of road (maybe 2 km ) in reconstruction , than to the border with Greece perfect road .From Butrint to this gravel part is about 10 km on normal standard Albanian second road ( wavy and nerow).
