Can anyone help? My lad has passed his test - yippee - but we have a Husky SM610 sitting in the garage and are having problems finding a way to restrict it to 33bhp for the first two years of his riding.

Apparently there are no restrictor kits made for this bike -

Anyone know a specialist fettler Ipswich way who could do the job?

Many thanks, Tallthinhack

I can't answer your question directly but have you tried either of these guys:

Motosupplies

Huskysport

bothe veritable mines of info :thumb2

There's also the well known Dyno/Tuners down Kent way (near Brands IIRC) that specialise in Huskies, buggered if I can remember their name though, sorry.

PDQ........just remembered :)

Nowhere near Brands (they are in Berks) and a lot bigger than when they started out as Husky bods but Nick the owner is recognised as an expert on Huskies :thumb2

Sell it and get a DRZ400S.

If you falsely declare the engine capacity and the bike is involved in an accident, your lad's insurance will be void as the licence will is invalid for that vehicle. Not really the best way to start a road biking lifestyle.....:eek

Timpo.
