Basic mechanical course

Anyone know to any basic mechanical courses evenings or weekends in the West Mids area? Preferably bike related but if I can't find one of those I guess a car based one would be quite useful.

I don't know of any but your best bet is to contact the local council evening classes, around here ther are so many listed you can do just about anything so give it a go.

mechanics courses

noiseboy, its not in your area but i know theres a mechanic at the rear of bmw rider trg in wales, he does a couple of days courses i think, here's his details:
