BMW Chain GUARD with TT chain GUIDE

Hiya, anyone fitted the above combination? Tried to fit one whilst I had the wheel off to get a new tyre.

I bought the BM aluminium guard cos I knackered the plastic one with a Tooltube..........but it is designed to fit without a TT guide. I think I can overcome the snag by using ~30mm spacer but am curious what others may have done.

Its a bit hard to take any pics without taking the wheel off...again!

Nope

I fitted mine with the OE plastic chain guard, with no issues

The OE plastic guard is probably lighter and stronger than the alloy too

I bought a chain GUIDE and it didnt do a bloody thing on my 650GS twinspark. I left it off and sold it.... It also didnt seem to 'fit' correctly and i couldnt get it to not rub the chain.... my advice.... leave it. I did loads of offroading on it and the chain never plopped off...
