Air suspension question ?

Hi all,

BMW never supplied me with the Pneumatic pump. Does anyone know if a normal bike pump can be used ?

I apreciate I wouldn't get a bar reading, but the pressure is so low its doing my suede in !

I think the shock runs at around 100 psi, so a conventional bike pump wouldn't do it, but the pumps used by the road race guys should be ok (They use really skinny tyres that run at silly pressures).

Or just mention it to BMW if you bought the bike from a dealer...

thanks, I've got one comming from BMW, just a little impatient. Wanted to go off road this afteroon.

You can pick up a high pressure pump that mountain bikers use for their suspension. Any decent bicycle shop should have a few - I carry one in my toolkit.
