Doing a little fundraising myself this weekend.
No cooking, sailing, or jumping off piers required - all I'm doing is standing at a forestry gate, making sure no "undesirables" get through while the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain is organising a rally in the forest, while holding a bucket with two Calum's Road stickers on it.
Not quite sure who the undesirables are, but today's takings amount to just over £80. Tomorrow will see at leastanother £80 which will come directly from the SHC of GB themselves, as a fee for minding the gate for the two days.
So that's at least another £160 - not much in the greater scheme of things, but another bite into my target.

Spoke too soon.Just counted what was in my bucket today, three times, just to be certain.
Final takings £76.38. Not bad though, but don't expect as much tomorrow, since it's going to be mainly the same people again.
My spot today:
It was somewhat moist.
