Wow.....

Seen it last week.

More fragile and more expensive than a 1200GS, but it has carbon fibre options

:beerjug:

More of a competitor to the Tiger IMHO.

Pity it was hit by the ugly stick during development :(

+1
I agree. It’ll take sales from Triumph (Tiger) and KTM (990SMT) etc.
I don’t think it’s a credible Adventure bike. Plus reliability is even more questionable than the 1200GS.:augie

Whats that thing going to the rear wheel and wrapping around that spikey cog thingy :nenau:pullface:augie
.........something that's relatively cheap to replace when it wears :augie

I like the Duke - looking forward to the test ride :thumb2

That's not a beak, that's snout!

Love the short pipes but don't want a chain:(

Beak or snout, it's still a waste of time and makes it look ugly.

Without it the Duke will be a very credible competitor for the Tiger and 'on-road' GSers. Adding it on is a sop to adventure style bikes which plainly this is not.

There, I've said it :augie

Not sure what / which market it's in, but some data:

-De-tuned Testastretta Evo. 150hp(!)
-Multi-mode traction control
-189Kg
-Ohlins/Ducati ESA on the fly adjustable

A very, very fast point to point motorbike.
Wasted on me, I think.

Great looking bike and very proberbly a faster better handling bike than the ne w dohc 1200 with its new engine (105hp:comfort).
And for most 1200 owners going off road is limited to a camp site field:augie or across the touratech carpark:D

still prefer the Gs though:bow
