Its a TT tank, I asked for the colour to be '71' Escort Mexico orange and it's pretty close depending on which part and from what angle you look at :D

Looks good Bobble. :thumb2 The TT tank suits the 1150 I reckon. I'm wondering what colour to pain mine.

If you host your image on Photobucket or similar you can type above and below the pic, but not when you attach the image to your post as you have done. :rob

Many thanks folks, I was a little unsure when I was deciding on the colour but I'm really pleased with the outcome.

The tank I managed to get secondhand, they are like 'rocking horse stuff' and new they are now £1100 plus carraige  a friend of mine painted it all.

He can paint mine! I too have a 41 litre TT tank - ever tried getting fuel on a Sunday in France? Never mind that you have 450 miles before reserve, more importantly, you can get from Saturday night to Monday morning in France!

I was going to go matt metallic green for mine. Sort of Army green, metallic, with matt finish - o it looked like a matt green version of the Adv. Justr replace the gloss mixer with matt finisher in the paint mix.

Would be interested to know how to contact your friend - Wolves are only 30 miles away.
