MC hire in or around New York City

Will be staying just outside New York City from 19th May for 10 days - in a place called Red Bank in NJ - would like to hire a bike to visit some people in upstate NY (Cooperstown - about 600 mile round trip). Can anyone advise on a place to hire from ? would consider a Beemer or a Harley.
