I'm now the proud owner of a complete sh1t heap shovel head :eek

Project 'Bobber' is on

Just need some mechanical skills and a pile of money now :blast

Nice one mate. :thumb2

Just need some pics....and a step by step Thread.

I like the Shovelheads.....totally useable yet with a bit of 'classicy appeal'.

Must admit to Knuckleheads being my favourite though.....but maybe a Shovel is more of a daily user?

Anyway...keep us updated. :beerjug:

Nice one 'H' as others have said we need photos please. Sounds like alot of your spare time has now been allocated.

I hope it'll be more Exile than OCC.

I've bought it unseen through my Harley club (no not HOG :ymca ) but I have seen this gallery:

It runs and has been in fairly frequent use until about a year ago due to the owner's ill health. Kick start only :eek

I think you can tell by my sig line it's unlikely to be OCC / Swedish / Ness. Basic plan is hardtail, open primary, single seat, beach bars, short springer front end, fat tyres. Hopefully clean, functional, basic and classy.

well done - we will need a build report though

Here is the beasty

It looks a lot better in the flesh than up close. It'll need a lot of TLC :eek

Looks great Mutters - and it'll look even better once you're finished with it.

And as for it needing TLC... I thought the 'used look' was all the rage with Harleys now... ;)

Sometimes you just have to accept your limitations

Sometimes you just have to accept your limitations and delegate to a professional. I reached the limit of mine a long time ago and then money became an issue, but project bobber is struggling back into life.

Tony laid all the bits out:
