Alarm unit position

Have purchased a Sola-alarm to fit on a R1150GS.
Where is the best position on the bike to fit alarm unit?.
Any idea's, seems very limited to appropriate places.

Have you got ABS?

On my non-ABS Adventure, the Meta alarm is fitted under the tank, ahead of the battery where the ABS pump would fit.

On my ABS GS the only place I could find is on top of the air box, you have to move the round thing that is on the top to the side of the air box then use the screws and screw holes to fit the clamps for the cable ties.

On an ABS Gs its a real pig to find anywhere, this was the only place I could see and it fits fine.

Yes I do have ABS so it cannot go there Mike, will have a look at Jim's suggestion tomorrow, with thanks
