I really like this ride. Have been a couple of times in the last few years.
Not sure if Clive is still around or wants to organise it again
I'd be doing the route on the above date BUT note the following:
1. I don't know how to ride off road so as usual I will be riding "on tarmac" detours. The GPS file gives you the off road routes.
2. I prefer to stop at one of the nice pubs for lunch as I make a day out of it, rather than pack lunches.
3. If you want to do the off road bits AND have done this route before .. you are more than welcome to lead that section
The excellent planning by Clive is posted here. with links to the GPS file of the route (same as 2008).
If other turn up I will lead BUT note the following:
1. I am a slow rider who hates U turns
2. I like to stop and change gloves
3. You take your life into your own hands when following
I wonder if I get more numbers than a pub meet in London
FINAL NOTE: If Clive does decide to do this again then I am more than happy to be just another plod in the crowd
Final final note: JUST TURN UP ON THE DAY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED
A 10.00am start at the Total filling station (which is the first one you see if coming into Hungerford from the M4)

Short drink/piss/photo stop at the sites/sights on the route
It will be the drop-off system so I'll be looking for a tail-end
