My windings have gone southwards on the DRZ (2002) - I am after a stator, but nearly had a coronory when the Suzuki dealer told me it would cost me £340 ... for a few magnets and wire ...Hmmmm..

So, can anybody recommend me a supplier that would ensure that my kids get some inheritance?

:D

Do a search on here or the www - there are companies which make copies.

change the starter clutch bolts for 10.5,s and lock them in too,
common fault on a drz,,,
can kill the alternator again,
also, the uprated power ones dont last as long, they arnt needed anyway

Am thinking of getting this stator off-ebay and sending it off to get rewound - West country windings has been recommended - is this a good idea? and has anyone had experience of WCW ?

Comments appreciated as ever :thumb2

Buy the staor off eBay and get your ORIGINAL stator rewound!!

west country windings, been round years, used them many times, if you dont need the drz a few days, why buy another? they have a fast turnround if needed
