tyres

Hi all
I want to get away from using semi knobblies 0n my 93 gs100
(presently t66 michelins)
Wot tyres does anyone recommend, that may be more akin to harder road riding.

I dont know if theres any road tyre that will fit the r100gs but ditch the t66.I had a pair on my 94Triumph Tiger and they were pants.Try metzler tourance or endoro4.There not strictly road tyres but I have used both and they will grip as good as any road tyre when fitted to the r100. There also good in the wet and the wear rate is exellent compared with modern soft compound sports tyres.

Semi knobblies???

I don't know how you can describe T66 as "semi knobblies". They've got as much tread as most normal road tyres. However, in certain conditions they do feel uneasy. A bit like full knobblies in fact.
As PICT says, try Tourances or, if you want something a bit cheaper, try Conti Enduro Pro. I've got a pair on my R100GS at the moment and they are as good as I can manage. As a few people in the club will confirm, I don't hang around on it.
