Strange but always had the sat nav wired direct to the battery but decided to buy the Zumo power lead which plugs into the loom ever since i have done this every now and then when i turn the key all works but as soon as i hit the starter button the power goes off ( along with the auto com) and have to make a couple of attempts of key on key off to get it to work again.
Any ideas - a little stumpted ???
Thanks :comfort

I wonder if there is something in the latest upgrade that means the canbus is reading the 660 as a drain on its resources and shutting it down?

A call to the good folk at Garmin may be in order, perhaps?

The Zumo 660 firmware upgrade shutdown is not a canbus issue - mine didn't even get as far as the bike before it shut down. Besides, I have a trusty non-canbus 1150!

The problem was there with the 550 as well and that was 2008 mapping so maybe its the can bus or whaterever or however that works) may go back to direct to the battry .
