Went to this place a few years ago - called the Experience Music Project - not the Jimi Hendrix. I think the name change was because the estate of JH fell out with management of museum - which is bankrolled by Paul Allen.

Really good museum - spent a whole day there and could have used more time.

If Hendrix is your thing there is a big exhibit all about him. Very high tech museum with shoulder bags that give you the spiel on each exhibit together with the ability to get more information if you want it.

Don't miss a meal in the Space Needle which is not far away - the view on a good day is awesome. Hope you enjoy the trip.
