First 1200 GS at North Cape

Hi

Just woke up after doing 680 miles on my last day of my trip to North Cape and return in 6 days
Bergen -Oslo-Gjvele(sweden) Sundsvall-Umeå-Luleå-Karasuando-Kautokeino-Alta-North cape-Alta-Narvik-Lofoten-Bodø-Mosjøen-Bergen a total of 3500miles in 6 days on my 1200 gs.

My first 1000 miles a day ride from Gjvele to Alta.

I had it all ,sunshine,ice cold wind with heavy rain ie
Dont ask how my bottoms look like ,have to do something with that seat
The bike performed well even started to loosened up a bit on the fromt suspension.
The tankbag is to big and the side stand footprint is to small,oil consumpsion 1liter in 3500 miles.hope this will come down soon.

Notice that at speeds around 90-100 km\hr fuel consumpsion approx 0.35 l\10km at 120-130 increased to 0.54\10 km.

Glad you had a great trip, we set off on 4th July for the Nordkapp ourselves two 1200GS & 1 1150GS.......
