I picked up my new bike last week - after lots of humming and hahhing and deliberation over letting my GS go.
Rationale was, I do lots of commuting and quick blats, and no trips to africa or even as far afield as scotland - I felt 'over equipped' (and I wanted to get trackdays under my belt again after a two year layoff).
Was so taken with BMW build and reliability I thought I'd gove one of these a go. first impressions? I love it. Flickable, torquey, stand out paint job (one off), comfy enough and insurance was buttons.
Just thought I'd share a couple of pics! I know its not a GS, and I did love it - but was looking for a change, and with two duff shoulders the lighter option was attractive (for now....).

That's a nice paint job, I've only ever seen them in yellow before. Looks smart and, as you say, a nice light bike for some real fun :thumb

I had one of these for a day as a loan bike. Really enjoyed it. Surprised me just how comfortable it was.
