Airbox mods

Although the filter is nice and high in the frame, the air intake is open to the side panel. I have a habit of heading for any water I can ford and I must admit I'm a little worried about water splashing in the intake.

Anyone had any issues or modified the intake ? I was considering moving the rubber intake and then blanking off the side panel.

Even if water gets in, there are drainage holes in the actual plastic housing ? If you have done a good job oiling your air filter the likely hood of water get through the filter is very slim, unless you dump the bike that is.
