MOT fail on brake light on all the time.

Hey Guys,

My bike just failed its MOT on the rear brake light being on all the time? Any idea what would cause this and where I should start? I am sure that I read a while back somewhere on the web that this is a common problem. But then I might me wrong as I can not now find the article

It also failed on my front light. All I have is the small side light and main beam. Maybe this is connected in some way? First off I will try and put a new bulb in the front (halfords sell em?)

Just my luck to fail as I need the bike back on the road or its the bus for me
