Planning a trip in May, my mate Ian on his Buell and me on my GS1200. Planning to go out from Portsmouth to Santander to get way down south first with minimal effort, across to Barcelona along the cost towards Marseille, Milan and depending on how knackered and the time either wiggling through the mountains or more direct back to Calais for the Eurotunnel home.
All in from Manchester back to Manchester about 7 days but 5 1/2 of those on the incontinent. Overseas mileage will be about 1700 or 350 a day.
We're looking for no more than two or three more bikes and want a brisk rather than balls out pace. We'll pick up accomodation along the way though may pre book secure accomodation if we decide to stay in big towns like Barca as dont want to have to walk home.
Dates : earlier rather than later in May and probably Wednesday to Wednesday.
