been running my 'new' R1100RT around a bit lately and am generally very pleased and suprised how good it is.
one fault I have noticed is that occationally it wont change up.
upon examination, the gearlever is hitting the top of the slot that it pokes out of.
there is 'slop' in the ball joints and wear in the pivot
Surely this must be a common fault - my bikes not even high mileage.
What is the standard repair
kind of tempted to 'open up the slot'
