At 8500 miles, I am about to change my tires from the OEM Trailwings to some Metzeler Tourances. The Trailwings still have some life, but I will have another 11-1200 miles on it (the last 600 fully loaded and with a pillion) before I have another opportunity to change them, so I'm doing it a little early.
I have the owner's manual, which shows the torque specs, but I was wondering if anyone has the factory service manual and can tell me if they recommend tightening the rear wheel fasteners in stages like they did on the old ones.
