Norway/Sweden BM Dealers

Due to do a trip to Norway, Sweden in the summer (along with the rest of UKGS by the looks of it) coming up from Croatia. Bike will be serviced before starting but should hit the 6000 mile in Norway, still have another 2/2500 miles to do befor back to UK. Any sugestions on getting the bike serviced at dealers in Norway or Sweden. Was going to take an oil filter and do an oil change myself but thought I would ask if any one has experiance of them. Thanks

There are of course dealers throughout the country, just look them up at BMWs national web sites. Dealers are busy in the summer, so you ought to have an appointment. And make sure they know you're traveling.

Norway is probably the most expensive place in Europe (the world?) to have your bike serviced. I would have just done the essentials myself or with a non-dealer. I can recommend a couple in the Oslo area.

Thank you for the information. Should be due a service around Stockholm. All 3 bikes will have done just over 6000 miles then, so possably a dealer there. We are taking the ferry to Riga from Stockhome so will miss Göteborg unfortunatly. Will try the BM site for local dealers and email to see how much the cost is likley to be. Any further info greatly appreciated. :thumb2
