what 20/50 oil

Dropped down to the local Halfords and they only stocked the classic 20/50, what brand dyno oil are people using? It seems to get harder to get 20/50 each time the service interval comes along.

I use Rock Oil Guardian Semi-synth 20w50. I get it at a good price in batches from a guy on here (Fatal) who local to me and has a trade account with them.

You're basically fine with any oil that meets the minimum spec requirements (in your handbook) but be wary of some 'classic' oils and supermarket stuff which may not.

As you may have gathered, oil questions generally elicit a degree of pi** taking on here
