I give up.
I have searched through this site and ADV Rider but to no avail. I cannot find the article on replacing a final drive that I am sure GS God St Eptoe wrote.
I am particularly keen on this as I have final drive from a R1100R sitting on my bench to replace the standard one on my R1150GS.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to this article.

Thanks
Adrian

Whats the problem? just take off the old and fit the new one don't forget to heat up the s/pin bearings before trying to remove the pivots (to melt the locktite). I've done it several times and ain't a problem really at all. Don't for get to drqain the oil first.
dave GS. (if you get a prob just put a post up on here, you don't have to make any adjustments or anything just one off and one on so get in there ).

No need to drop the oil. Just keep the final drive upright so the oil doesn't escape through the ABS sensor hole.
