If you are interested in off-roading in North Yorkshire on legal BOATs I suggest you might like to visit

and scroll down to “LATEST NEWS - Public Consultation” and then further to “RoWIP Leaflet” where you will find a consultation PDF that you can print off, fill in, and send in.

Consultation by 31st October, you don’t need to live in N Yorks – just those who might like to use the rights of ways in all forms.
There are other alternatives on the site such as an online survey.
None of these relate to the legal ‘carriageways’ the County has responsibility for, but it can’t do any harm to reiterate our right to ride legally on BOATS and naturally roads.
