Hello everyone,

My first post. Right, here goes...

Just passed my test a few days ago and have only a couple hundred miles on a 2009 F650GS. To say i'm loving it doesn't quite sum it up - i've been wandering about with a asinine grin upon my face since i first fired it up and took it out on that maiden voyage which wasn't half as terrifying as i thought it'd be.

And thank you. This is the bike for me and my choice was based largely on info i got from here and some from our cousins across the pond.

@Mutley - It's on the list. I'm discovering this biking lark requires a whole lotta kit!

@siwhite - I'm Reading way so when i've got the hang of the bike (and hopefully stopped missing the indicator cancel and hitting the right turn signal!) i shall no doubt see you on a Berks run ;-)
