Sleep Time

I have a 2003 F650GS which is used by my girlfriend
Due to work commitments she basically does not have the opportunity to ride the bike so it just sits in the garage under cover doing nothing.
As it sits in the garage doing nothing I was just curious about what I should do whilst it is in "hibernation" for the foreseeable future i.e. replace oil & filters, remove battery, get battery charger etc etc

She does not want me to sell the bike so I was just curious as the best course of action

If its for a long time I would suggest "lend the bike to someone" or sell and replace... (No depreciation so in 1 years time she should be able to buy a 1 or 2 year newer bike)

I used to park mine up for the winter doing nothing to it at all.. just putting the optimate on it.. And then if the weather is nice you can use it any day... no need to think oh would be nice to use the bike.. spend the day recommissioning it... then find it raining again so can't use it..
