Extra connection under seat

Had the seats off today and found connection not connected to anything just wondering if anybody knows what this is.

Maybe the diagnostic plug in thingy.

I suspect it'll be the connection for the charcoal canister fitted for the USA market - the connector is redundant on the UK model.

It will be impossible to say without a picture or at least some description...

Here in Sunny S.A. we have the same unused plug, which I hear is for either a heated seat or MORE LIKELY an alarm/immobiliser plug-in...

Mine, when I found it, was flapping around doing notheing except maybe scratching the paint, so I cable-tied it to one side, and there it shall stay!

My vote for for the charcoal canister.

I have never seen it though because we don't have it here in Finland.
