Odd Question - Speedos...

Hi, This maybe an odd question but Ive been offerred an interesting deal from a Friend who has an XT660Z Tenere.

However does anyone know if these new LCD Speedos can be simply changed/updated to show Km's an not MPH ?

I would be buying in the UK (So much cheaper) and bringing it to Switzerland...So the speedo needs to read KM's

Any Ideas ?

Yes very easy ,just hold down the button on the speedo while it is switched on and it will change from MPH to KPH whatever you wish :beerjug:

When a pal of mine took his Africa Twin to Zurich ( as he was living there)
He had a bugger of a job with the "testing " of the bike which had a few non standard bits on it

Yeah...I learned that the hard way last time. Imported a "mint" 12C and they kept me chasing paper work for about 4 weeks. Word of advice...ALWAYS go to the main Import stations in a Major town! :ronno

(anyone who wants ALL the paper work for a 12C...Just let me know...)
