I live about 1 hr from the Dolomites and can highly recommend any of the passes in the area - just head for Cortina with a good map and you can't go wrong!

I've done The Stelvio (about 2.5 hrs west of here) and always find it much too crowded - there's a heck of alot more passes around with a lot less traffic on them.

No cops around either

What are you waiting for?

4 OF US THERE week after next 9-16th Oct make it shine please, Mark Dilloway, Chris the Twat fat , Charlie Batty and Me.

Any Gay Bars ?

You're quite right Vendome - we're looking at the various web cams - the upside to the possibility of snow flurries is the clear air which makes for wonderful pictures especially with the trees starting to turn. We probably won't have time for the Stelvio but the Grossglockner - yes.
Cheers

Don't know man - plenty of handlebars though - it's great weather at the moment.
