Taking another wander across France from the Portsmouth/Cherbourg ferry, got 3 of us so far (1150 & 1200 plus a K1100) this is apart from getting a reasonable distance from the port 100% off the autoroutes or main arterial roads.
We had planned to go to Perpignan, but accommodation is out so this will be F1 hotels where we can and camping (probably wild/stealth) where we can.
Dates are fixed and ferry is £120 return or take the northern ferry/tunnel and meet up.
Do intend to hit the area near Albi and the mountains in the national parks, but this is a lazy trip 200 miles per day but on back roads it does take most of the day if your chilling out and taking in the scenery.
