My brother was with No1 Squadron RAF (Harriers) and was on the Ark Royal probably about the same time you were Mike.

Didn't have any RAF Harriers on board during my time - they started trials on the GR7 (the ones made of plastic) the year after I left...

My 15 year old son's at RAF Cottesmore doing his weeks work experience.
He rang tonight over the moon, he's checked the tyre pressures of a Harrier and followed an engineer around it doing all the pre flight checks.
