Finally got the decals on Sukie Sue and headed out this morning for
a short spin up along the Bann.
Called in at Carnroe Lock. Lovely place for picnic. Watched the salmon jumping and two Kingfishers flashing about. Too quick for the camera.

Sukie Sue ....

Headed on up to Portna Lock just outside Kilrea....

If you miss the Locks, you can go this way........

and close by is this.......

all in all it was a nice morning out.

Great pics, nice wee run there

Good to see the salmon running - haven't fished Carnroe for a few years, it got too expensive. They had to drop their prices this season because it's now all catch and release, but still £100 for a half day
