Going over this Saturday and starting in Ypres at the museum, does anyone know what/where bike parking is near the museum?

Thanks in advance

Steve

the whole of Grote Market square right outside is parking spaces . There was a festival on when we left on Monday . Poppy's resteraunt up towards the Menin Gate does fantastic food . I recommend the butterfly prawns for starters and a big mamas pizza or steak ..... HHHmmm magic . FYI . I think the paschendale museum is better . think it is in Zonnebeke A map costs about 5 Euro and will save you a lot of pissing about looking for sites . hope this helps . Tynecot , Essex farm , Hill 60 , the carterpillar , yorkshire trench , Langemarke , and Bayernwald trenches are must do's

And for an hour or two of total peace, try Ploegsteert Woods and the small cemetaries within (also traces of old trenches visible) Another place is http://www.talbothouse.be/
A museum but also a hostel where you can spend a night or two in the same museum rooms and the same rooms that the Tommies stayed on their r and r trips

I'd avoid hill 62 if I was you . It was run by rude Frenchman and seemed over commercialised . The
Place stank of cats piss and a big moggie lay on the food serving counter .
That's just my opinion though . :D
The Canadian memorial just up the hill is worth a look though .
