Hi all

Had the 1100 Panzer out for a wee run today, and noticed that the clutch is in the early stages of slippage.. In higher gears revs out with no match in speed etc:(

Now have 76,000 odd miles and this will be its first replacement

Is this a job I could do myself, or would it be better to let someone else do it and the dreaded question......How much will it cost????

Comments please

Heff

Heff Yes you can do it if you can use a set of spanners and have patience you can do it

If you're not sure and need advice you are more than welcome to give me a bell

Cheers

Is it an engine out job or can it be done by stripping all the crap out of the back end ? wheel ,drive shaft ,gear bag

There's a bit of stripping to be done Spen, but basically it's wheel out, hinge up rear subframe, gearbag and driveshaft out as one, fit clutch and reassemble. :)

Really easy when you have a Jay knocking about. ;)
