WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR RT TODAY?

Fitted a new Zumo 550 mount as the old one was full of water. Zumo 550 waterproof, mount not, thank you Garmin :mad:
 
Washed it, polished it, changed the gearbox oil, swapped screens over, went for a short spin :thumb

Picked up my girlfriend from work, rode through the ardennes for lunch, riding back home tomorrow ready for the big trade in next saturday :thumb2
 
Swapped back to the California Scientific screen for the trip to Germany tomorrow, the Ztecnik Stream is nowhere near as quiet, just needs oil topping right up and fuelling :thumb
 
Rode it to Troyes and became concerned at flecks of oil on the rear wheel rim...

Hmmmm ....I have those as well. The fact they are splodges rather than streaks or smears perhaps suggests they are deposited when stationary
 
I get flecks or streaks by the bucket full but it's brake dust on mine :thumb2

Gave it a quick clean after getting home from my 7,200 mile trip.

Think I'll load it up and take-off again tomorrow :)
Maybe the day after.
 
Changed the oil in the Final Drive, glad to say it looked like new, :beerjug:

just under 50,000 miles, and still on the original battery.

I am sure on of you bars-tewards have been around and changed the battery.
