Hi All, hopefully someone in here can assist with this.
If you are either at Holme Moss or Midhopestones on the Northern edge of the Peak District, is there a good route North to Skipton in the edge of the Dales?
I let my Sat NAV work it out on one trip and ended up with a nightmare of my GS with expanded panniers stuck on a network of narrow laned carriageways around Bradford where I could not filter between the traffic.
I then tried a route to the West through Uppermill and Delph which was better but still a lot of reduced speed limits and traffic congestion.
Is there a better route, or should I just skirt the edges of Huddersfield, Halifax and Keighley on the A629?
