Can I strongly suggest that you try getting out more often, spending time outside (away from computers) is actually quite good for you.

Initially I preferred the dark grey, but the more video I see of the red, the more I like it.

Thanks, snerkler, that's rather a good, clear visual summary of the changes (although maybe I should have written 'the degree to which this is a totally new bike' rather than changes).

Yeah thanks, comparing my model / colour with the new w/c model, does'nt want to make me go for the new one at all .

I really like the look of it and reckon it's a big improvement on my '05

The 'actuating arm'? on the centre stand (l/h side) looks bonkers though

I would think engine or gearbox... would be worth waiting a year or two..

wont be parting with my 09 GSA yet...can't wait for the adventure release though...

18 kg lighter apparently is appealing...

Are you saying the new GSA will be 18kg lighter? I can't see that tbh as that would put it at the same weight as the new GS

New GS Fully fuelled (20 litre tank) = 238kg
Current GSA fully fuelled (33 litres tank) = 256kg. If it was 18kg lighter it would make it 238kg, the weight of the new GS. As the GSA has a bigger tank this would make the dry weight less than the GS, which obviously it won't be.

Apart from the knobblies single seat and engine bars on the silver one, anybody else notice the headlights are completely different

There are 3 different headlight options available. High low halogen like we have now but different shape, same but with the LED day light under the high beam and the 3rd being all LED and there are cooling fins under the high beam to cool the LED's via believe it or not a fan built into the unit. I have seen a cutaway of the all LED light and it's a work of art. Looks stupidly expensive though.
