The starter on my 2010 FLHTCU is spinning and taking time to engage to turn the engine over. Told it is the starter clutch and the dealer has ordered some parts.
I am assuming it is to do with the solenoid not engaging the starter and the cog turning the flywheel like the old boxer twin.
Am I on the right line and is this a common fault with HD's (heard of two others who had same problem)?
One more month left on the 2yr warranty so hoping this will be covered for parts and labour.
Spoilt my long weekend off work.
