K1100 oil light

ive just rebuilt the water/oil pump. Now when I turn on ignition there is no oil pressure check lamp light ? I cant remember if it did before ? does any one have a k can they check does the check lamp come n and then go off when the engine starts, cheers.

doesnt the wire go through the middle of the pump ?

which one

it does but there are 2 wires one for the water temp sensor and one for the oil pressure switch. They both have the same connector on ?

It does come on, then go out once it's running.

very simple fix

took screen off unbolted clocks took clocks apart to check bulb it was ok,so put everything back together and it now works. good old bmw !

might have put thw wires on the wrong sensor switches just a thought
