Can anyone out there please help me? I have a BMW battery charger but no instructions and cannot get the charger to work on my 2010 GSA. I would be most gratefull for any advice any advice.

Being a Luddite ...
... and owing an 1150 I may be guessing here but I think your bikes canbus system shuts down after a period (15mins) and won't let stuff connect. Try turning the bike off and plugging the charger in straight away, you may find it'll work fine. Alternatively top up the canbus fluid reservoir to the upper mark and then try again.
