A mate of mine has a BMW built for the paris-dakar race sometime in the early 80's. What I do know about it is as follows - spondon frame, WP suspension, brembo brakes and playboy sponsorship decals. It was built but never raced and has been garaged for 25 or so years.
Does anyone know anything about these bikes? I was also wondering if he should get it insured in case it has any value.
